High Pressure Metallic Membranes

Used to extract hydrogen from the steam system of nuclear reactors. Operates at room temperature to 500 C; pressures up to 1500 psi; 1/8" diameter x 60 mm long; Extracts about 5 cc/hr during normal operation. Reduces the risk of over-pressure and hydrogen explosive events. See article. Note: membranes are brazed into customer-supplied fixture.

Low Temperature Metallic Membranes

Low temperature metallic membranes for extracting hydrogen from other gases at room temperature, eg. to remove hydrogen from the water output of a fuel cell on the Space Shuttle. Typically sold as a trombone-bend coil 14.25" x 3/4" containing 57" of membrane.
